I would say to add the chat app to a blog instead and have it be next to updated content so it can be discussed. The room alone just won’t cut it. When you update your blog, ping it at http://pingoat.com

If I were you I would put together a nice add that clearly shows people the times, location and the subject of your chats. Websites such as Back page.com and Criagslist.com could be very help full in getting more of a following for you. also you could go into other larger established chats and advertise your chat as smaller and more personal
