    Exxon Mobil is a MERGER not a strategic alliance

    Here are some ideas:
    – The airline codesharing – Continental OneWorld, etc
    – It’s common in technology – HP and Microsoft, Intel and Microsoft, Microsoft and Accenture… etc.
    – It’s also common in healthcare – Baxter will team up with a pharma for example
