HELP! I have this marketing presentation to do. And I don’t know where to start!?

1.Competition in the market for personal computers (PC’s) is fierce. Assume that you work for a company selling PC s by e-mail order and you wish to target adults particularly those above 30.
a.Explain what you would do to build your communication strategy around the purchasing process.
b. What promotional techniques you might use.

    I hate doing your homework for you, but here are a few ideas.

    a. You already know your target audience – what kind of magazines do they read and what TV shows would they watch to make sure your ads get to their target?

    b. What are most of the over-30 crowd looking for on a PC? Games, email, web surfing, photo use, blogging, …? Then you know how to slant the ads to make them relevant to your target audience.

    c. Remember that music and motion along with demos make the most convincing and eye-catching advertising for TV, music & upbeat voice for radio, and color and apparent motion for print.
